Learn to scan Slides, Negatives and Prints to digital:
Do you want to learn to scan your own photographs, 35mm slides or Negatives? We offer a training course using our scanners and software tailored for you.
We spend a morning teaching the basics of scanning using the scanner of your choice together with our software and computers. The afternoon is spent examining and editing your scans in lightroom and photoshop.
You will learn about dust and scratch removal at the scanning stage. You can, of course, bring your own images to scan and with our guidance be assured of a great result. If you have some equipment you do noot know how to use we may be able to help, for example we have use Minolta Dimage and Opticscan equipment in various trials. The scanners we use routinely are Nikon Coolscans, Epson V700’s Canon 9000f and Opticscan pro. The software we use includes Lightroom, Photoshop, Silverfast and Hamrick programs we also show you how to use Apple software. If you would like to use your own scanners or software please contact us as we may be able to deliver a days training for you specifically with your setup. A warning – this is a steep learning curve and we do not expect you to take in everything in on the day so we will be there on the end of the phone to give you support in the future.
Pricing:
A standard one day session from 9:30 until 5:30 with a 45 minute lunch break and unlimited coffee starts at £200. Phone us to discuss your requirements.
